The Legend of Butterflies



The legend of the first butterflies say that there was upon a time in a village, an old woman used to have a beautiful flower garden by the shore of lake. The fisherman from around the nearby villages were in love with her and used to come to her and exchange their fishes from flowers.
Fisherman: "I came here to exchange my fish with the beautiful flowers you have in your garden."
                Everyone in the village noticed something magical about her, because at night her house had a magical glow and once in a while some dwarf were seen helping a beautiful young woman work in the garden.
Villager 1: “Look! Is that glow?”
Villager 2: “That is Old Woman’s House”
Villager 1: “Very strange, why her house can glow like that?”
Villager 2: “I don’t know too, it’s very strange. A few days ago I also saw a lot of short people hanging around there.”
Villager 1: “Short People? What creature is it?”
Villager 2: “Never mind! It’s already 12.00 am o’clock, I want to go home and sleep.”
Villager 1: “I want too, but I’m still curious about it.”
Villager 2: “Let her alone, do not you miss your wife?”
Villager 1: “Yeah. Okay, I want to go home too.”

One day a young couple visited the village were the old woman lived, and while walking around, noticed the old woman’s beautiful flower garden.
Young Woman: “Look at the flower garden is so beautiful, right?”
Young Man: “Hmmm… You right. Do you want it?”
Young Woman: “I really want it”
Young Man: “How about we go there and take some flowers for you?”
Young Woman: “Come on! Hurry.”

                The couple decided to get inside the garden and grab some bouquets, when the old woman sees this, walks out of her house and ask the couple to leave, when they turn around to see who was talking to them, they make fun of her and ignore her.
Young Woman: “Wow… Is so beautiful! I’ll take some flowers and I’ll make some beautiful bouquets. Can you help me?”
Young Man: “Just take as you want. I’ll help you to collect these flowers.”
Young Woman: “Sure, I will take as much as possible.”
Old Woman: “Hey! What are you doing there? Get away from my flower garden!”
Young Woman: “Your flower garden? Is not yours. Look at yourself, old woman. You’re old, you not deserve to have a beautiful flower garden like this.”
Young Man: “Even you look like terrible witches!”

Then the old woman, insulted, touches the couple with her cane.
Old Woman: “Since you love beautiful things, you will live from now as beautiful insects. Wingardium leviosa!!

                They emit a very bright green light, after the light began to disappear both of them into a pair of butterflies.
And that day was created the butterflies came to be, who always are found near beautiful flowers. And this is how the Butterflies came to be.

B.J. HABIBIE Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie known as BJ. Habibie was born on 25 June 1936. He was the Third President of the Republic of Indonesia (1998-1999). Habibie was born in Parepare, South Sulawesi Province to Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie and R.A. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo. His father was an agriculturist from Gorontalo of Bugis descent and his mother was a Javanese noblewomen from Yogyakarta. His parents met while studying in Bogor.
