Kisah Singkat - Rudi Hartono si Maestro Pemain Bulutangkis

Aku Ingin Satu Angka Lagi

                Semua orang pasti mengetahui siapakah Rudi Hartono itu? Dia adalah legendaris badminton yang saat itu telah tujuh kali menjadi juara pertandingan bulu tangkis All England di Wimbledon, Inggris. Tetapi belum banyak orang yang mengetahui bahwa suatu ketika pahlawan bulu tangkis ini berada pada keadaan yang amat sangat terjepit.
                Kala itu Rudi Hartono harus mempertahankan gelarnya sebagai juara dunia. Ia harus menghadapi Strue Johnson, juara bulu tangkis dari Swedia. Ini adalah lawan sekaligus musuh bebuyutannya. Stadion Wimbledon pun riuh-rendah sesaat sebelum keduanya memulai pertandingan. Sementara itu, rakyat Indonesia deg-degan mendengarkan siaran langsung pertandingan melalui Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI).
                Pertandingan pun dimulai. Adu pukul shuttle-cock pun cepat memanas. Sialnya, pada set pertama Rudi Hartono kalah. Set kedua dimulai, adu pukul dan adu smash pun makin mengharu-biru. Semua penonton. Kali ini benar-benar celaka, di ujung set kedua Rudi Hartono tertinggal angka dalam posisi 0-14. Seluruh pendengar RRI (waktu itu masih sangat  sedikit penduduk Indonesia yang memiliki TV) yang mengikuti pertandingan itu menjadi tegang. Jika salah pukul, pasti Rudi Hartono akan kalah.
                Untung, Strue Johnson melakukan kesalahan. Shuttle-cock pun berpindah ke tangan Rudi. Nah, ketika akan memukul shuttle-cock itulah Rudi Hartono berkata dalam hati kecilnya, “Aku ingin satu angka saja!”
                Lalu ia pun memukulnya kea rah lawan. Masuk! Strue Johnson tak mampu menahan shuttle-cock. Satu angka untuk Rudi, jadilah 1-14. Rudi pun kembali memukul shuttle-cock. seperti tadi, kali ini hati kecilnya kembali berkata, “Aku ingin satu angka saja!”
                Demikianlah, satu demi satu angka direbut oleh Rudi Hartono. Posisi angka pun berubah drastic menjadi 14-14. Strue Johnson tercengang tak habis-habis, mengapa dirinya sampai terkejar begitu cepat oleh lawannya. Inilah yang menyebabkan mentalnya jatuh. Set kedua pun dimenangkan Rudi Hartono dengan amat sangat sulit.
                Di set ketiga, Strue Johnson kehabisan napas seiring dengan mentalnya yang melorot. Dengan mudah set ketiga dimenangkan Rudi Hartono menjadi juara dunia bulu tangkis kedelapan kali!

B.J. HABIBIE Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie known as BJ. Habibie was born on 25 June 1936. He was the Third President of the Republic of Indonesia (1998-1999). Habibie was born in Parepare, South Sulawesi Province to Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie and R.A. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo. His father was an agriculturist from Gorontalo of Bugis descent and his mother was a Javanese noblewomen from Yogyakarta. His parents met while studying in Bogor.
